2007 Gander Mountain Spring Extravaganza
Harrsiburg PA
Harrsiburg PA - April 20 - 22, 2007 - Another quality event held by the Keystone Club. Gander Mountain made us feel very welcome and many employees came out to watch the dogs fly along with some future Marines. 15 teams from the Chesapeake Club ventured up to Harrisburg to compete with some very high-flying dogs for a total of 88 teams.
Sharon Rodgers & Thunder were the leader at the end of Friday with a new regional personal best of 24' 2", keeping Tim Kline & Bella of Keystone to second place with a 23' 11". Saturday morning saw Chesapeake members Scott Whiteley and Finley take over the lead with a 24' 10", while Les Lamparski & Lucy came all the way from Michigan with a 24' 6" for second. Finley, Lucy and Thunder maintained their lead spots until the finals. Cheaspeake members Scott & Finley won 1st Place Pros, Sharon & Thunder 7th Place Pros, and Nathanial Brinton & Reggie came out of nowhere with a 9th Place Pro finish at only their second event.
In the Amateur Finals, Brandy Fowler and Buddy took a 1st Place Senior and Carly Keane & Scram jumped to a 4th Place Senior. 1st Place Junior Finalists were James Linde & Tasha. Brandy & Buddy rounded out our finalists with a 5' EV grab for a 5th Place Finish. For more information click Club Stats or Complete Event Results.
