2007 Frederick Home and Outdoor Show

Frederick MD - March 30 - April 1, 2007 - The Chesapeake DockDogs held their inagural event with great success. With 103 teams that competed throughout the weekend, we were quite busy, but the event seemed to flow smoothly. The rain held off until right when the finals started on Sunday, but overall, the weather was pleasant.
Jay Harris & Sir Harley, all the way from North Carolina, won the Big Air Pro Division with a 27' 3" jump and now owes his wife a three diamond ring. Scott Conrad and Reggie from the Keystone Club was the EV Winner with a grab at 7'. In the Amateur Divisions Eric Beauvais & Kasey from PA won the Senior Division with a 20' 6" jump, Jim Pierce & Jake from VA won the Junior Division with a 15' 5" jump, and Peggy Toms & Kai from VA, and a Chesapeake DockDogs member, won the Novice Division with a 13' 6".
Our club members made a great showing in the finals. In the Pro Finals, Scott Whiteley & Finley jumped to 2nd Place with 27' 3", Sharon Rodgers & Thunder jumped to 9th Place with 23' 7", and Terry Moore & Sandy jumped to 12th Place with 22' 3". Carly Keane & Scram jumped 19' 2" for a 4th Place Senior Finalist Finish. In the Junior Finals James Linde & Tasha jumped 15' 1" for a 2nd Place finish and Sharon Sparks & Sky jumped 10' 2" for a 4th Place finish. In the Novice Finals, our club members completely dominated. Peggy Toms & Kai won 1st Place with 13' 6", Tracy Williams and Tanner earned 2nd Place with 8' 2", and Jane Harford & Olivia earned 3rd Place with 6' 4".
